As above looking for a drum tutor as I don't seem to be able to get a reliable instructor. Some weeks I get a lesson and some weeks he is to busy.

I think one a fortnight is enough now and I want to get some consistency. Can you guys recommend anyone in the Northumberland , newcastle or Tyne and wear areas

Cheers in advance

If I could put forward a recommendation if the o.p hasn't got fixed up yet I would recommend Geoff Hutchinson who is based in Blyth. Fantastic player and a teacher with a great reputation having got something like half a dozen lads from the North East into Berklee.

Geoff's story is truly amazing. He's one of many UK drum educators that I truly look up to and respect.

Well I got banned for taking the ****, apparently they were laughing between themselves afterwards on the thread saying "that sorted him out" or something on those lines. Is that the way to mod a forum, stir up an argument and then ban the first person who bites?
The tw@t drew me out and I stupidly took the bait but he knew exactly what he was doing though.
Apparently you're not allowed to say negative things about local bands on there even though the one I was on about are absolute garbage IMO of course
I think Mark W can confirm exactly what happened

Kinell, what an awful place that is, the mods are a total kin' joke, so far up their own @rses it's unreal.
Disagree with them and they ban you, take the pi$$ out of them and they ban you.
I'd rather wade waist deep in $hit and urine than visit that place again

Graeme and Dave at Newcastle Drum are both excellent teachers, I learned so much from Graeme in the 6 months I went there.
