Just bought my tickets for this evening. Never seen a film in 3D, can't wait....

Aliens are awesome.

From what I have heard I don't think I will bother with Prometheus, but I have seen several 3D films over the years and the technology has improved greatly. I saw Tintin 3D last year and had no eye strain or discomfort and it really added to the film.

I recommend the 3D - it's the first 3D film I've seen but it was really impressive, and from what I've heard, the 3D effect on this particular film was very subtle compared to others.

I think it asked very few questions, and answered most of those it asked quite clumsily.

This Alien fan was rather disappointed, and one can only conclude that had Ridley Scott has today's technology back in 1979 then the original would have been nowhere near as good.

I think it asked more questions than it answered, in the style of Lost.... but I'd watch it again. Not a patch on Aliens of course but way better than the AVP films.

The 3D was awesome. Won't say anything to spoil the film but it was an interesting watch, quite thought-provoking as well as a reasonable amount of gore and Alien stuff. Recommended if you're an Alien fan.

2D is better

I haven't even heard of Prometheus. But the only 3D film I've seen was 'Pirates in an Adventure with Scientists', thoroughly enjoyed the film, probably more than the kids but what I found with 3D was that there was so much detail in some of the scenes it was almost too much to take in.

Me too. Can't wait.

Enjoy it!
