I picked up an iPhone 4s yesterday and I'm really happy with it. So different from the Blackberry that I had before.
I was looking for some good drummer related app suggestions that anyone may have had good results with?

Here's a BELTER of an app for you: Peter Erskine's 'Joy Luck' play-along. The whole album set out as mix- tracks with full, printable transcriptions for each, including drum solos. The album tracks are in full, too, in case you haven't got it!
And it's only £2.99. It's brilliant on the iPhone and even better with the charts on the iPad.

Jammit, Allows you to download tracks and adjust the volumes of the individual instruments. great for practice. |

Thanks for the suggestions. I'll check them all out. Just downloaded the Ludwig metronome app, which is really good and free! |

Drum Linear looks pretty cool -- www.drumlinear.com. I know Sam's done a few other drummy/music apps too that might be worth checking out.

Can I reccomend Mapex drum masterclass, it's very good for learning to read musical notation. I'm totally unbiased of course, shameless plug! |

I use Native Instruments' 'iMaschine' a lot for scratching out ideas and jamming. |

tempo advance. programable setlists and amazing detail you can get into. Iuse it live for the first 30 bars to get secure, then it cuts out so music can breathe
polynome... not used it much yet but a great idea.
big silver button metronome. simple interface and basic use so a bit easier to use than the tempo advance one if you just want to dial in a tempo and go. |
