Do they still have the topless bar staff?
Are you working on Sunday?
Our lass is away this weekend and I'm contemplating a rare trip out into town but I usually drink with an older guy in the "oldies" spots lol.

Beez in 'Grab a Granny shock' !!!!!

The lad I usually go out with (Kenny Rogers ) is getting on a bit but we always have a great night, to be honest I don't mind, I feel young going out with Kenny
Can't beat Flares for some top notch 70's disco sticky floor fun

Now, I've stopped laughing, just out of interest what fish do you go after and what's normally in the bait box?

Plenty walk I slagging it off but go out singing there head off saying what a great night they had but the next week they call it a dump..... Go figure

I'm not at work as such but I will be there as I'm kinda interviewing a dj. If your out I can get you sorted with copious amounts of alcohol and cheap champs

Got to be better than the Beehive, I get dragged in by my mate whenever I go out with him, now that place IS a kin' dive.
For some reason I always seem to end up in Flares, propping the bar up and talking ballcocks

Oh no, flares is deemed for the old and desperate And the beehive urm what to say, it sells alcohol

Yes anyway back to topic, this weather huh....terrible

Certainly savage weather across much of UK, hope it all settles down for you soon. Yesterday in London was very different, calm, sunny, hot and humid, hard to believe that there was such heavy weather elsewhere.

Crazy

Heworth Metro down the road from me has just been on the tv, looked to be 3ft under water last night!
Loads of houses down that way were flooded, they were all out with their buckets bailing out their properties, poor b@st@rds. They weren't even in areas which I'd think were a flood problem, they just looked unlucky enough to be a foot or so below the level of the road.

I count myself lucky not to have had more than a 30 minute downpour and some big puddles on the roads.

Took me 3 hours to get from Bihop Auckland to Gateshead, usually a 30 minute trip.
It's like a warzone out there, cars floating in the road, people all over the place I can only presume are walking home because most of the roads are closed.

It was bad where I work, and 5 minutes away at Fosse Park there were dented car roofs and bonnets, and smashed windscreens.
