Started off with Zildjian, sold the lot for some Sabians, then back to Zildjian aaaaaaaandnnnnnnnd back again to what I have now!
Can't waste yet more money, although after watching a load of Mike Johnston videos, do like the sound of them there Meinls!  |

Posted - 07/07/2012 : 12:29:53 I have a 20" AAX studio ride which is nice. There is good tonal variation across the cymbal and a large bell too for a nice ping. I use it for gigs as I think it carries better than my AAX dry ride. That is not so tonally varied with much less wash. Hope that helps. If you want some sound clips, I'll see what I can organise. |
