Has enyone seen a stamp like this before?It looks like it has U.S under the normal Avendis stamp.
The stamp looks 50s to me,can anyone else confirm this?

I haven't seen that before. It looks quite 'official' if that makes sense. Like it should be 'US Army', 'US Navy' or something? No other responses here, you could try posting on Cymbalholic, someone there would probably know.

Hi Thomas
That sound a good idea i will post it on the cxymbal forum and what you said about the army could be right as i have been told the the original owner was in a military band dueing or just after the war.I bought another cymbal of the same guy and that turned out to be the 50s big stamp.I put the rivits in it and it sounds great.
