When I go electronic, I'll have 2Box cymbals to cart around. They're chunkier affairs than acoustic cymbals and the hi-hat clutch is permanently in place.

What's the best way to lug them around?

Hi Chris Pro Racket or Baskey should be able to help with bags to fit, if you speak to mike and give him the dimensions he can make a bag to fit, Jane

A soft or hard 14" drum case with layers of foam between cymbals works too.. I use a floor tom case cut down to store/transport mine... just an idea incase you have a spare.

That's a good idea. Maybe a deep snare case.

a company like http://www.efoam.co.uk/indexm.html Will actually cut you packaging foam at any size for you to make protective inserts. works a treat. For the hi hat I use a deeper bit of foam with a section removed for the clutch. ha maybe I should manufacture a pre-built e-cymbal case... with a pocket for cables and a module... brain starts whiring.
