I am unsure if this is the appropriate forum for this issue but, on my return from the glorious event of 13th July 2009, I was searched unfairly by the British Transport Police and believe that they along with the staff at Birmingham New Street Train Station should be forced to make a sizable donation to stickittoms as a result. I ask for your support.

I felt the power!

Registered. Number 21 has been recalled into action. I was the only drummer out of 582 who had a Granstar kit that day. It's a safe bet the kit I take on the day will also be a one off, too (Black shadow resonator bop kit)Looking forward to meeting up in the capital and quaffing a few steins of bad mans Ginger and some very spicy shishlak!!

Absolutely. They will match up to £750.

Only downside is I have to wear a white Barclaycard shirt while drumming. Still, worth it for the matched funding, I would have thought.

Last time they gave us a time to come and set up (around 8am IIRC ) and we had a large space at the front but we were just about the first there.

How bigs your car?. 'cos my focus has trouble with just mine, stupid folding seat, lumpy boot, odd angle boot etc. Im more than willing to double up.
Whoever doesnt drive pays for petrol? sound fair?. It might be posible for me to wangle a van for the day, but thats not a deffinate.

Just a warning, it's posible I might have my new Highwood by the time, if this happens, I'll have to drive up 'cos the full kit is a bit large. (4 toms, 20x20 bass, rack, 3xcrashes etc etc) I'd have to take it all just to show off !!

Ya beauty! No. 335 checking in for duty sah!

I missed the last one, was gutted. Please count me in on any Dolbearian shenanigans and early load in.

I'm travelling down from Sconny Botland, anyone else making the trip sarf? My puny Seat Leon ain't got room for two kits, but if someone else has a larger brief I'll split the fuel with them. If there is a get together on the Saturday night I'll be willing to stay over and make the usual fool of myself! :-)

^ Glad you can make it Unc. I will be going from Embra but thing is Mrs Martydrums has decided to come along too. We are going to make a wee holiday of the weekend and are traveling down on Friday 13th (oooooh). I might have just managed 3 peeps and 2 kits as I will be bringing the jungle kit but then you would need to travel down on the Friday too.

Marty, you are a gent. Thank you for the offer but I can't go down on the Friday. I'm still trying to decide between the BD/FT/SN/HH/CR easy set-up, or the full feckin bhoona with all the toms, pies and frame for some hot drum porn action.

Anyway, I wouldn't want to cramp your style in the Lurve Mobile on the way down. You never know when the mood may take hold! ;-)

Volvo XC90, pretty big with seats down, I think it would probably fit 2 kits in even with your 4 toms as I've only got 2.
