I may consider using some of my bonus this year and buying a new kit.

So, say £750 to spend, no hardware needed, 20 or 22 inch kick, i kinda like shorter toms so i can reach them, and i do like a hanging floor tom if possible. i have 2 decent snares so snare is not essential.

So, fire away, what suggestions do you have ?

For that kind of cash I'd be looking at an older Premier Signia or Genista but most of them have deeper toms. For shallower toms, hanging FT, and if it's a new kit you're looking for, then this :

Grr thats a sexy kit. It'll sound amazing too, genistas always do. You could skin them with crisp packets and they would still sounds great.

I demoed that kit at LDC and it sounds really good. Its an amazing bargain at that price as well. They also have a birch in rosewood fade as well for a similar price.
