The snare lugs look consistant with the rest of the kit. APK, When you consider the kak that is for sale at £299 for a naff starter kit, I would say it's not a bad price for a complete kit. It's made in England unlike the new Chinese ones too

It's a late '80s/early '90s APK (XPK was lacquered and didn't have the black interiors). The snare is probably original to the kit, I think a 1035(?) At £175 it's not the deal of the century but you're getting a full kit, with all hardware (2000/3000, single braced but good sturdy stuff) and a bunch of cymbals (OK the Solars are crap, but I think there's a Zildjian Scimitar or Amir, and a Meinl Classics crash in the 2nd pic?).

I think it's a really good buy actually, especially if you can make a few quid back by offloading what you don't need. And like Nick says, it's a UK made Prem (with hardware & cymbals), you'd be hard pushed to find anything similar/better for that kind of money

Don't think I'll go for it, at first glance I thought the snare was a 400! (I wish!)

I had the exact same kit in red, bought brand new in 1988, and used it for many years and lots of gigs. I've still got a lot of the hardware. Great kit.
