I'm trying to find a small jazz type band from the Basingstoke/Reading/Hampshire area who might interested in the occasional, probably outdoor gig, this summer.

It would be nothing too strenuous but just to give a bit of atmosphere to a couple of events going on this summer.

They will be paid gigs so if anyone is in a small band/combo etc and you think you might fit the bill, can you email me with a few details and/or link to your website and we can get back to you with some details, dates etc. We are on a budget (being a charity an'all) but let me have some idea of what you charge as well.

I can be mailed either via this site or at linda.dewhurst @ nationaltrust.org.uk

Just a quick update to say thank you for all who responded and we now have a trio sorted.
Larry, if you are one of the 3 who are coming down I will introduce myself along with Dave(thedrummer).

Thanks again.

Dave - yes, brain the size of a planet Dave - can never remember anyone's name. Introducing yourself once every fifteen minutes usually helps.

Captain, I've moved from the house with the hedgehogs.
None seen at the new house yet.
They are funny little things to watch and make such a noise munching through the snails in the evenings.
