While we're on this subject, the HQ Real Feel Double Sided (The one with the "Speed Side", not the one with the cymbal attatchment on the bottom - I have them both and they're quite different!) is the nicest feeling, and by miles the quietest pad I've used, and I've tried quite a few! Love it!

I have the HQ reel feel with the snare sounder inide it, putting the snare part in actually makes it a bit quieter, once removed it causes a echo

Here ya go mate, it really helps to pick up mistakes, kinda amplifies them unlike a standard pad which masks them i think. You will need to try one to see what i mean
