So me and lauren are going to majorca at the end of june. It will be our second holiday abroad together but I was going to get a check list done of what to take. I know I will forget something if I don't do one, so what do you usually forget? Or whst should I take that I might not think of? I know it's early days but I'm skint and want to buy stuff gradually. Thank you people/what ever you are!

Sun cream, shop around there's usually somewhere with it on offer, 2 for 1 or 50% off blah blah.
Sun glasses, shorts, what else do you need

Me and Sue both used to take several pairs of jeans, decent trousers, smart shirts, double the number of underpants and socks really needed, a selection of jackets and so on. Forget all of those. Like Beez says, shorts, t-shirts, suncream, shades, money. End of.

Quite a few folk I know have had their villas, hotel rooms etc burgled when out there. It is common on Majorca, so be very careful -- use the safe or whatever. We even had our rental car stolen!

If I'm travelling in the uk or abroad on business I have a checklist because I'm actually useless - ice forgotten toothpaste, or toothbrush, my tie, my belt.....

But if I'm going on holiday to Spain or somewhere popular I just throw in shorts, t shirts, flip flops, toiletry bag and make sure I've got my wallet and phone. For a start, what more do you need?! And secondly if you're going to a tourist resort, there's nothing you can't easily buy if you need it. In fact last time I went away I didn't even bother with shampoo, shower gel, toothpaste etc - I was taking hand luggage only and by the time I'd have ****ed about getting ones below 100ml and putting them in a clear bag I really couldn't be arsed - a quick trip to the supermarket when I got there and I got everything I needed for about a fiver.

I'm with Rocket, also having toured on a motorcycle. 1 Pr shoes/sandals etc., 2 lots of underwear.
T shirts and any other clothing you may need + toiletries buy out there and throw them away before you come back.

Don't forget passport and dosh.

I think I might leave them behind this time. I took them last time and didnt use them. I think a weeks break off drums might do me some good!
