You know when you hear about someone in the media making a statement then you think WTF, that is pure and unadulterated bowlarques.

I do get a little fed up of her however. On the Metro (free newspaper) she seems to have been in every single issue for about a year. Mainly news articles along the lines of "Jessica Ennis, still got great abs" or something else along the lines with an excuse to print a picture of her.
Don't get me wrong, talented athlete, lovely to look at and probably a lovely person but it seems they've just latched on to her to the extent that from a casual glance she was the only UK athlete at the games.
(and she's no Victoria Pendelton... )
