I bought a 14X5" Pearl Sensitone Aluminium snare t'other day on the Bay which arrived today

It's got a coated Ambbassador batter with light use by the look of it, Puresound wires with one wonky wire and a clear Ambassador resonant in pristine nick. All good stuff so I presume a previous owner has replaced stock heads with a wise choice of heads/snare (came with a decent bag and entry level stand as well which for £84 I think was a good buy)

It needs a flippin good tune as it sounds pretty awful straight out of the bag as it were but my question is: what would you advise as a good head combination for this?

Evans hazy 300 reso, your Ambassador ought to do the job but i'm into evans power centre reverse dot's, i'd get rid of the snare wire, or just cut off the dodgy loose one,,
