So i will go for England to make the final and that will make you all laugh but with the papers giving them no chance it will help the players out.
They can play football is stead of being scared.

Who do you pick to get to the final

Think it'll be between the usual suspects. Spain, Germany, Holland. France looked good when I saw them in a friendly a few days ago, very impressive going forward.

Don't want to be predictable and say Spain, so I'm going to go for France, even though they are a tad ropey at the back.

Spain, Holland, Germany, France or Italy in that order.
Beez the favourite backer

Kev, we'll probably squeeze through the group stage but we don't have enough quality to break the better teams down, surely you as a bit of a footy expert can also see that.

I've had a bit of a flutter.... I've gone for...

Holland to win
Holland win + RVP top scorer
Germany win + RVP top scorer
And a cheeky fiver on Croatia to win. I don't know why, it just jumped out at me for no apparent reason.

I suspect that if England actually make it through the group stage we won't get past the quarters.

Yeah but Chelsea and Man City have high quality players who can turn a game with one touch, England don't have that, Rooney aside but he can't do much without any help.

England when we did well...
1990, Gazza, Waddle, Beardsley,Lineker, Mark Wright to a certain extent.
1996, Gazza, Anderton, Shearer, Sheringham.
2004, Rooney but we turned into $hite when he broke his foot.

I actually think England will get a bit further than most predict; mainly because they have no ridiculously high media-driven expectations as in previous tournaments. That said, they won't win.

I reckon The Netherlands will win.

Lets look at Germany
They have to play
Holland Portugal Denmark if they win the group they could play Russia
If things work out like i think England will win the group it will be
England v Germany Semis
After we beat Italy and as we are about the same at football it could be done

But if we don't win the group and come 2nd Spain

?????

Gotta say, Denmark did well to level from going two down though i'd say the Portugese were well worthy of their three.

The Land-Of-My-Fathers, were they really that good or were the Dutch off colour tonight.. of course, it could've been better - could've been the L-O-M-Mothers.

Nice one thomas never say die. Wished someone told that to the so called England fans when we went 2.1 down the same old. Where sh-t they all could pick a better team. They all have a way to get them playing better and so on then we score 2 and they turn in to our biggists fans again.
I FECKING LET THEM HAVE IT.

Now its about Rooney and his fittness as he as not played the first 2 games ??????????????

Ive not heard a comment about Milner not getting to play football as he could not get in Man City team but what are they saying he is poor LOL There is no one better Milner will be back to the way he plays fully fit and giving what ever he as.

You still dreaming Kev?
Wake up and smell the coffee

Milner as with Young has been very poor so far and offered nothing, if you can't see our woeful lack of quality in attacking midfield then I'm afraid I don't know what else to say Kev.
Obviously you'll take this as another one of those "England are $hit etc etc" type negative comments but there you go and I'm not going to try and explain myself yet again, besides it would be awful if we all agreed wouldn't it

My memory is fine mate, yes they seem to have a load of spirit which is a great thing but we are still playing reallt really poor football, there's no getting past that fact.
To say otherwise is just pure lunacy or you're seeing something massively different to what I'm watching.
First thing my mate said to me yesterday regarding the England v Sweden game "kinell, we were $hite weren't we".
A well taken couple of goals does not paper over the cracks for me unfortunately, still the same old England but with added fight.

I've mentioned Chris Waddle before but listen to his comments on the FA and England team, he has it nailed bang on the head I'm sad to say.
