You could say it was artistic differences!

Basically it is thanks to a primadonna banjo player that has more ego than talent. and is a feckin christian though his behaviour would suggest otherwise.

what with moving, getting rid of the MR2 it's the start of a new chapter

I left a big band in Hinckley for the similar reasons - although in my case, it was the MD/lead trombonist who was a complete tool.

In a much more enjoyable one now. Never looked back!

Out of the seven in the band, three were preaching christians and another was a vicar, thankfully not religious, the rest were honest atheists

Thanks to the first three we were losing decent gigs

Atheists all the way. Who's that arrogant they tell god what religion he is?

Sitting on top of the mountain isn't the most interesting bit of the climb. Sitting at the bottom aint much fun either.

I love christians, they try to justify my wife dying at 26, and my son having autism. Apparently, God had planned it all for a greater purpose. The romans had the right idea about them all.

I love getting involved in these debates.

But it's against the rules. So I won't. Also because if talking sense about religion counts as trolling I could end up with a mob of angry medieval-style Sunday Morning Christians brandishing pitchforks and torches on my front lawn...

I think Christians are like any otehr group of people. You get the nice ones, who are tolerant, don't tend to preach and generally are great people to be around, and then you get the not-so nice ones. I've generally found them to be a minority. A vocal one, which does tend to taint the others. Mind you I've also found that in other subsets of people.
