Well the price may reflect that the bass has been messed, very badly but if the snare is totally intact and original, it's worth a shot, just for the snare. Hopefully, the Ebay buyer protection is engaged.

The price should be 6 times that..

There is one in the UK owned by a drummer that I work for.

I would be very cautious...if it was UK I'd do a payment upon collection but..

Reminds me of Krupa's drums that appeared on Gumtree in the Shetland Islands... guy wanted a deposit before viewing. The old adage: “If it seems too good to be true…”
I think a Top Hat and Cane set was for sale in the UK a couple of years ago, price was £17,000 if I recall.
