... what can I say? WOW! Travis is a beast. I've always liked him , grew up listening to the music he made. Seeing him live is something else, the engery he has is unbelieveable. I had such a great time that evening, I just wish it lasted longer! He seems such an awesome dude and a great father, his kids came out during the encour to release beach balls into the crowd! Amazing band full of energy and jokes, sound was incredible!

WOW.

Saw blink when they toured their self titled album. Despite what drum snobs who heard half of "all the small things" one time would have people believe, the guy's a fantastic drummer.

I think alot of the anti-Travis feeling was caused by "fanboys" on forums proclaiming him to be the best ever & all that....Similar scenario to Joey Jordinson.

Personally, I think he's a brilliant drummer.

I really can't stand Blink 182's music so I've never bothered to pay much attention to the drumming - the singer's voice alone makes my brain shut down in protest. I have no doubt that he's a good drummer, but I can't abide listening to them...

Each to their own and all that though, just my opinion.

Seems quite a humble guy that loves drumming, never understood the grief he gets from some people. People like him are what inspire kids to start playing.

Apparently a lot of his personality traits these days are a result of his 'near death experience' - he was in a plane that crashed/caught fire and his PA and bodyguard died as a result, along with two crew members. He was quite badly injured, so he's now very much 'appreciating what he's got' as it were.

I too can understand the 'anti-Travis' movement as there was a point a few years back where he was everywhere and a lot of younger players thought he was the only drummer worth listening to, but I really rate him, especially if you listen to some of the more 'grown up' Blink stuff and other stuff like +44 and Box Car Racer.
