And it sucks! Sorry and all.
Baker's the only one who can play that music with Jack - much as I never was too much of a fan.
Too bad this is around again now!
If anyone feels to check out something decent with me and Jack, there was a fun album we recorded called "Seven Moons" (Robin Trower and Jack Bruce) a couple of years ago.
I strongly advise no-one waste their time checking out that other tripe.
Best wishes,
GH

^ Have removed the link from the post Gary. I did not think it sucked, just rather different. Anyway, you know a million % more about music than I ever will! In an attempt to return some slight amount of artistic control to you in a very small way I will leave the post up a little longer and then delete it.
Cheers, Martin
P.S. absolutely loving Dirty and Beautiful Volume 2. |

Thanks Martin! I appreciate it, and thanks for checking out D&B Vol 2 - means a lot to me when people are enjoying it.
I guess I just remember the time - the pressure on me, and how disappointed with my efforts I was involved in that thing when we did it. The drum performance itself, and how I felt totally non-equipped to portray that music was such a big disappointment. The fact it remained as a VHS video for so long without becoming a DVD filled me with hope it might disappear... but with YouTube - and I'm the biggest lover of YouTube - here it is again!
By the way speaking of D&B2 there's a new interview with new drum takes on some of that stuff on the new edition of iDrum Magazine.
Best to you and thanks again.

Gah, seems I can't delete this topic. Possibly because there are posts within it? Done some editing in the mean time. Hope that helps.
All the best, Martin
