It was bad where I work, and 5 minutes away at Fosse Park there were dented car roofs and bonnets, and smashed windscreens.

Took me 3 hours to get from Bihop Auckland to Gateshead, usually a 30 minute trip.
It's like a warzone out there, cars floating in the road, people all over the place I can only presume are walking home because most of the roads are closed.

Hmm. I had to put on a panama to protect myself from the sun. The kittens went and slept downstairs to get away from the heat. Truly this is the end of days.

The worst part was i set off for work at 7pm and it took me 3.5 hours to get next to Mill BMW in newcastle city centre to be then told the bar i work at just wasnt opening so i turned around and got hom at 1pm

a normal 35 minute journey each way took 6 HOURS

And the worst part is i had to get into the back of my van, empty the last of my sandwiches out of my bait box and pee in it

Heworth Metro down the road from me has just been on the tv, looked to be 3ft under water last night!
Loads of houses down that way were flooded, they were all out with their buckets bailing out their properties, poor b@st@rds. They weren't even in areas which I'd think were a flood problem, they just looked unlucky enough to be a foot or so below the level of the road.

Honestly i have never seen anything like it in my lifetime

Every road i tried to take there was a car up to its bonnet and stuck in a puddle, people broke down through lack of fuel, people abandoned there cars and walked. AT one point i thought i would jus pull over, unwrap my pro racked matt and sleep in the back of the van till it buggered off

Crazy

Certainly savage weather across much of UK, hope it all settles down for you soon. Yesterday in London was very different, calm, sunny, hot and humid, hard to believe that there was such heavy weather elsewhere.

Idols? OMFG
I ain't been in there for years, I know plenty who do though, they're all pill heads from the wrong side of town if you get my drift.
Do they still have the topless bar staff?
Are you working on Sunday?
Our lass is away this weekend and I'm contemplating a rare trip out into town but I usually drink with an older guy in the "oldies" spots lol.

It's been a while since you have been there then mate lol it's totally different. They have a very strict drugs policy there now, if your caught your arrested. The bar staff wear cheer leaders outfits and dance on the bar it's actually one I those bars that is a guilty pleasure. Plenty walk I slagging it off but go out singing there head off saying what a great night they had but the next week they call it a dump..... Go figure

I'm not at work as such but I will be there as I'm kinda interviewing a dj. If your out I can get you sorted with copious amounts of alcohol and cheap champs
