hey man, nice playing! If you still have the audio available i would suggest tweaking your bass drum sound, its quite lumpy and doesn't blend, fairly incongruous with the style. Nice production values on the video though! =)

I didn't/couldn't listen to more than 30 seconds as this genre makes my teeth itch,, however, you seem to have this particular style sorted, i also couldn't find fault in the bass drum mix really (i listen to music through my Bose headset) i'm sure that fans of this genre will find it a useful source,,

Thanks for the suggestions guys. I know it's not everyone's cup of tea (I can't stand fusion myself) but hope that all drummer's can enjoy it in some way and maybe even learning something from it.

You obviously are sticking to the metal thing, so do This Calling. That's the double bass rite of passage isn't it?!

Yeah buddy...that's like the Metal drummer Bar Mitzvah, the path to manhood hahaha!
I'm sticking to the Metal side of things as I can play a variation of styles but there are so many Youtube drummers showing off the "chameleons" they are but I love playing Metal and I'm half alright at it so I'm gonna stick at it.
