Not top of the line, but good solid, basic, reliable pedal.
I was thinking of the mid-level Pearl P2002C Eliminator.
Suggestions? |

| It may be mid level price as you say but The pearl pc is far from a budget pedal ! Its right up there with any top of the line pedal and just as good. Also the Gibralter seris of pedals are very resonably priced and very good pedals, Mapex Raptor is another choice, Best to go someplace and try them out |

I've got an Iron cobra and I bought that because I tried them all and decided I liked it the best. It was so expensive I got mine from Ebay second hand. There was a decent Pearl one as I recall but I can't remember the model number of it. It's so personal, I'd just try one and if you like it and can afford it, buy it. |

I went to Manchester Drum Store a few weeks ago and tried every double pedal they had in there and came out with the Mapex Raptor, I love it! It offers so little resistance and just seems to reproduce exactly what my feet do. It is completely down to personal taste though so get down to your local store and try them out!

| If you like the feel of pearl pedals, the cheapest pearl double is great. It has the same driveshaft as the eliminator, and it's on of the best shafts of all brands, except these fancier shafts of demondrive/axis/trick. And the driveshaft is the first part that's gonna wear out on a double pedal. |

P122TW?? I had one of these doubles and it was as smooth as you like, i aslo had the IC double and i found it ran away with me abit, (not that i have a double pedal technique) i had to let the Pearl go with my DW kit as a deal breaker,, |

| I decided on the Tama Speed Cobra. I actually play coffee shops and smaller venues, and I found I could play this pedal with more ease than the others---it has power and a beautiful light touch. The Demon Drive felt similar, but it's more expensive. Granted, adjustment can explain a lot here, but I did also like that long board. |
