I don't usually talk about my non-drumming life on this 'ere forum much, but after 12 years with my company, I'm getting the boot, along with six others.
Apart from being an experienced Sub Editor, I can also string a sentence together, so if anyone hears of anything vaguely journalistic job-wise, please give me a shout! |

ive been thru 2 redundancies. One was a decent payout, the other was barely 2 months wages.
Both have led onto something better though. These things normally work out well in the end. |

| i was in a similar situation last year - 25 years service, so payout would have been very good. But with 2 wweeks to go i got a job at our head office - sometimes it`s not the money that matters. |
