Do yourself a favour and go and see Brian's Fellowship Band at Ronnie's tonight (if there's any tickets left).................He was astonishing last night..........

I would so much have liked to have been able to get to that gig! I see Brian is playing London again in November with Chick Corea and Christian McBride. Sometimes I wish I lived in London.

Seriously tempted to make the journey from Edinburgh to see Brian with Chick Corea in November. I would have to dep out one of my own gigs but that should be doable. The main issue is that it is perilously close to the Birthday of Mrs Martydrums and she has a rather significant one with a five and a zero in it this year. Perhaps she would like a trip to London to celebrate her Birthday there...

I you fancy seeing BB in a more intimate venue (which I highly recommend) I've just found out he'll be back in August with his piano player Jon Cowherd's band and John Patitucci at the Pizza Express in Dean Street (round the corner from Ronnie's)...
