I'm wanting to post a bass drum in a box measuring 25" x 25" x 25". Parcel2Go have quoted me £60.00 + VAT whereas Interparcel have quoted me £6.99 + VAT.

The latter seems rather cheap. Do you think they'll tell me the box is too big when I come to actually send it?

I've just gone as far as paying without actually doing so and the amount is £8.39. What's the catch?

There are two boxes, with the second being smaller. Both delivered with insurance to the value of £1,000 is just over £40 inc VAT.

Best to steer clear of Parcel2Go, they've been more than useless when I've used them!

Interparcel is definitely a better service but that price does surprise me...
