Have you brought something new recently and want to tell us all about it?
We are starting a new feature on the site called "Readers reviews" gives you guys and girls the chance to write a review about a new kit or bit of kit or DVD,book,CD or a gig/clinic. If it's ok we will put it live on the site for the world to see. If you have a photo send it over.
Don't worry about spelling or grammar Simon our editor will sort it out. It would be great to get a couple up twice a month.
Send them to info@mikedolbear.com. |

Excellent idea. I did a review of the new BP 'Blade' in the ol' 'New Black Panthers' thread if you'd want to use it...

I'd like to review (and hurl abuse at) more jazz drummers like I did for Mr NoChops and GoatStarer on this forum.

But just at the moment, it is talking behind my back, all by itself. |

This is a forum for all abilities and budgets.
Mike would probably appreciate the diversity.
Anyone willing to review a Highwood, or a Carrera, or something along those lines?
I've just bought a Jobeky Drum Kit, I could easily do a review for that... |

Does it have to be drums and suchlike, cos I could go into great detail about West Hams performance this season, or the advantages of a Mercedes Atego over its main rivals, or why Eddie Stobart is a git and DHL are useless tossers...
No?
Ok.
Great idea though. |

Cheers for that Mike. One thing I forgot to mention is that the beater (swing) angles are independent of the footplate height adjustment and you don't have to worry about the chain going out of line when you adjust the angle. I think I left it out because in most cases it's a swings and roundabouts adjustment but here in small amounts it may make all the difference. I hope it makes someones purchasing decision easier. |
