Caroline Scott will be holding a drum clinic at Drum Central in Edinburgh on Saturday, August 5th from 1-2pm. She will be discussing techniques to work on time, dynamics,rudiments, playing with brushes, and ear-training.
Caroline Scott is a freelance drummer from Edinburgh, based in London since 2009. She plays a diverse range of styles from jazz and pop to orchestral percussion. She plays with Cygnus Flare (jazz-fusion trio), Caroline Scott Trio, MO Jazz Orchestra, Swinging Magpies, Big Bang Roots, Amati Orchestra, and many other groups. She has also lived in Boston where she studied privately with John Ramsay and Ian Froman (Berklee College of Music drum dept) and took some lessons with legendary jazz drummer Ra Kalam Bob Moses.
