Pearl’s 930 Series Single-Braced Stands deliver reliable durability and reduced weight

Boasting the same sturdy tubing and tier joints as their double-braced counterparts, Pearl’s new 930 Series Single Braced Hardware is an excellent choice for the gigging drummer on the move.

Using the high-function and durability of the 930 Series stands, the Cymbal (C930S,) Cymbal Boom (BC930S,) and Snare (S930S,) stands are built to stand up to rigorous gigging and play with dramatically reduced weight.

“We have a lot of active gigging drummers here in-house at Pearl,” states Pearl’s Direc- tor of Research and Development, Raymond Massey. “We wanted a series of stands that could take on the rigors of non-stop gigging without needing a Drum Tech to transport them. Pearl’s Unilock Arm & Leg Adapter Expands Your Cymbal Set-up Without Added Stands

The UniLock Arm & Leg Cymbal adapter (CHA70) is a multi-positional cymbal arm that creates quick, easy cymbal expansion around the drum set.

Combining an extendable cymbal boom arm with two-way multi-positioning clamp, the CHA70 attaches to existing knurled rods around the kit from 8mm to 12mm. This makes adding cymbals to floor tom legs, L-Arms, and cymbal boom arms totally possible, ex- panding your set-up without additional stands.

The boom arm’s gearless Uni-lock tilter adjusts to practically any angle, and the for- ward/aft and side-to-side adjustment of the mounting clamp makes difficult positioning around the drum set a breeze. Exceptional for working drummers who want to extend the use of existing gear in tight spaces.

Pearl Announces Update to the Ever Popular Travel Congas

In 2011 Pearl introduced the original Travel Congas and the portability of congas was changed forever. Rather than the traditional 28” height of a conga, Pearl’s Travel Congas features 3.5” deep wood shells that deliver maximum portability and sound. Like traditional congas they utilize stave construction and feature real size Quin- to, Conga and Tumba heads. Tuning the Remo Symmetry heads is effortless with five precision Allen tuning bolts and the included wrench. The shell is finished in #510 Cara- mel Brown.

The newly redesigned Travel Congas also have a newly designed stand. The PC800TC accepts all three size Travel Congas and utilizes a tension lever mounting system that securely locks your drum in place. The wide based, large rubber feet, and double braced legs provide a solid foundation for your drum and prevents the stand from creep-

ing during performance. Each stand includes a travel bag with shoulder strap, so your stands are as portable as the Travel Congas.

Pearl Introduces New Tongue Drum Bag

From percussion ensembles, elementary music instruction, solo perfor- mance, yoga instruction and drum circles, tongue drums are always on the go. Pearl of- fers six different 10” tongue drums tuned to pentatonic scales and now those drums can be safely transported in the new tongue drum travel bag. This nylon bag is padded on the top, bottom and sides to fully protect your drum. The bag includes a zippered 7.5” x 6” pouch on the side for your mallets or personal items. Pearl Introduces New Aluminum Trap Table

One of the worst things you can do to a trap table is expose it to the ele- ments. The new Pearl aluminum Trap Table is constructed of 1.85mm thick aluminum and the tay is lined with black neoprene for silent use, and the aluminum construction makes it ideal for indoor and outdoor use. The table measures 24” wide by 15” deep and has 75” side walls to prevent mallets from rolling off. The spacious table has room for a surpris- ing number of sticks, mallets and percussion instruments and is finished in gray powder coating. The Chrome stand features black powder coated, double braced legs and a memory lock.

Where can you take the Pearl Travel Bongos? The answer is everywhere. Introducing the new Travel Bongos that are small enough, they fit comfortably in a back- pack. Pearl’s Travel Bongos feature 3.5” deep wood shells that deliver maximum porta- bility and sound. Like traditional bongos they utilize stave construction and feature real size 7” and 8.5” heads. Tuning the Remo Fiberskyn heads is effortless with three preci- sion Allen tuning bolts and the included wrench. The shells are finished in #510 Caramel Brown.
